Freedom That Once Was Poem by Andrew Robert Schellhaas

Freedom That Once Was

...And I've gone crazy
For what she infected inside

Together we were free
High with love
A force to be

Somewhere your feelings ran askew
'Our love will never die' changed

We were done, no longer one
'Maybe we can be friends'

It's over, after all our moments
You turned me in, forced these screams to rise
I'm lost within
My mind a cell

I want out now
But you've always held the key
Even though, our time has long past
You still effect me

My chains must be broken
Bonds set free and opened
Next time I'm with you,
Please;

Set me free
Set me free
Set me free.
