Freedom At Midnight Poem by Shamik Kumar Bose

Freedom At Midnight

Walk with care. Says the Lion to a Hare.
Now I shall leave the place. You will be here.
What more can I say? (With tears!) Take care.
The Hare laughs and whispers in his ear.
Just be there. Leave this place. I dare.
Then this jungle is banished from the welfare.
At midnight opens the gate of freedom with fanfare.
The Sun already had set in Western Hemisphere.
The day begins with the roaring sound of the Tiger.
