Freedom Poem by Alavi Maliha

Freedom

Rating: 4.5

I've walked places with you by my side,
My life must've led me where I could drift within the clouds or lure places to hide.
Shadows following as every breath I take,
Every fear that trembled down my nerve,
With every choice fatuously I've made.
I blame me, for not to be free,
But, love, who leads you with the silences of thee?
Fear runs through my veins, no, it's darkness I call,
Maybe I'd find my serenity with every time I break and fall.
I still walk down places;
Places so serene and heave,
I shall lead myself in silence
It won't be fear but hope to set me free.
