Long dark nights
with nothing in sight
iSit and stare
as iPonder my thoughts
deep inside iKno where i belong
the path i've been taking is so wrong
never follow the crowd be your own person
be who others wouldnt dare to be
im locked up in the cage all alone
you may think you kno wht the caged bird sings
but if yall was to really trade places
you would really see what it takes to Free Me
