A shadow overcasts the town,
Soon there's a hole in the sky,
Lights shine brightly downtown,
As if there is no goodbye

I'm found outside,
Under this willow tree,
Holding a memory I am occupied,
Tiny birds hum and there are three

They chirp and they sing,
Flying now hidden in the leaves,
Their music is all that they bring,
This loneliness in me relieves

All of the bad emotions,
Built inside of me,
The willow tree shows my actions,
Goodbye now I'm left to be

Content and happy,
Under my willow tree

I too find solace from loneliness by absorbing the peace and beauty of nature. Thanks for sharing your poem, Zemka
