Freak Out Poem by Sandra Feldman

Freak Out

So many things that do not click,
So many things that are just tricks,
Yet we are made, the same to swallow,
Sometimes I feel just like a pig,
Forced in the mud to sadly wallow.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
So much that's not right is gotten away with, even applauded, especially perfidious deeds of politicians and criminals. The injustice of it all makes me cringe, fills me with ire.

I believe with Dostoevsky that those who commit crimes do pay for their misdeeds, in lives of abject misery, but politicians? They can dither, and bicker, display obtuseness and prejudice, waste our money, and when they retire they get great health care benefits. I'm with you on this one, I cringe too, I get angry too.

You are so right! We all just give up and let this happens. The politicians are there only for power. We need REAL people.
