Fox And The Stork Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Fox And The Stork

Fox and the stork

As a child I knew the storks
-just in books and a pair in city of the Rey
-and no more…that was all…

Later on to moment
-the book ones, the fable
-has been best…meaningful…

Fox-stork turned friends
-invited for dinner
-fox was host to start
-had made soup
-and served it in plate

The long-beak could not take
-not even a drop

Stork's time
-tit for tat and polite
-served in vase with long neck
-fox was left high-dry

Why can't we judge it right?
-fox is fox
-and stork is stork

Fanatics have a way
-let them be as they are
-don't play, don't apply
-do not laugh, nor make fun

Be yourself as you are
-straight, faithless and or a gay
-why to go deep inside Middle East
-and Far East…Pacific…and elsewhere
-"This is right, that is not! "

Don't plough the land if
-is fertile, with drought
-to plant your own seed…
-causing hate!
