Four Ghosts

An awful day and awful night
Came look at us on darkly side.
They turn in flame of our thought,
And sent all people ghosts they got.
Two ghosts were of our fear,
They`re full of tears, pain care.
The third was face of people`s lie.
It makes the soul often cry.
The fourth, the youngest was foul play
It always knows what has to say.
All ghosts were in a box,
They took to people horror tox
Of envy, anger and loathing.
Can you remember evil thing?
Can you see those ones in your heart?
Can you call them your mind`s part?
The ghosts waited for their time,
To do a murder, terror crime.
They looked for people who in love
The flesh and money put above.
They wait forever for a snake
To see the Hell of paver take,
To see how much the soul costs,
Please, don`t release those evil ghosts!

I often have the feeling that there is an English Ghost speaking through your lyrics, like a castle ghost telling strange secrets about insider knowledgeof ghost history...and some fog give way on the characters of the 4 ghosts...like the 4 horses of the Apocalypse...orthe masks of fear, pain, lies and fool play or tricky play... to catch the lovers dream and pay their souls with money for hell... great story. Helios! Oh my Sun god, It is not the supernatural ghost here I see. Gee! it is natural ghost in me, in you, in everybody... Truth is foregrounded in subtle manner by our beloved poet.

It's yet another terrific poem by Ekaterina! So I hail thee and hope it inspire lot of readers and poets like me! Cheerio! (Report) Reply

Poem of the Day

poet Paul Laurence Dunbar

The mist has left the greening plain,
The dew-drops shine like fairy rain,
The coquette rose awakes again
Her lovely self adorning.

The Wind is hiding in the trees,
