Four Corners Poem by Nestor David Armas

Four Corners

You lie there
In your
Four corners,
You think
That's not right,
But it's no better
Outside,
Only if you think
That way,
Because in your
Four Corners
You are protected,
Only need to reach out
When in need
And then retreat,
Whilst outside
It's pouring
It's hailing,
Face each day
Hope and pray,
For tomorrow,
So don't wallow
In your sorrow,
Your four walls;
May be for the best,
Have room for one more guest?
