Forward and Back Again

We are optimistic
We are hopeful
We are full,
Full of all our potential gain

But as clouds bring the rain
Needles puncture our skin
And bring pain
We accept our gain

In steps forward
Then back again

I believe the sun will rise
Once again
And life will go on once more
So I believe

But looking into down the road
I know there will be an end...
An end to the sun rising

So what can I take demisingly?

What if I just release all?
Goodbye to God
Goodbye Hell
Falling into an endless well

Life scans across the cosmos
We are just another speck at most

Without a heaven or hell
Stuck in limbo
Just another void in space

Some mornings is it safe to wake?
My thoughts affect Jupiter how?
Every ant oblivious to me and somehow?
Calm down,
Calm down and relax

You are nothing more
And nothing less
Than wisdom

Wisdom is the window pane
into the soul
I need to wash my window panes of life
Until there is no more reflections of myself

No one wants to be in limbo or float around without any purpose
in life. We were created to honor the Creator of life. No pain no
gain. That is the ultimate lesson in life. A thought provoking write.

A wonderful poem.Sometimes we swing between hope and despair and ultimately choose the right thing. (Report) Reply

Steer your steps, not backwards, but ahead
As wisdom comes to fill your head
    Though needles puncture the skin
Don't let them make you spin
But fight back and win (Report) Reply

Great poem, '..Wisdom is the window pane
    into the soul
I need to wash my window
panes of life..' love these lines. Wisdom we gain in the journey of life reflects our true self and it gets stained along the way. And we may never get rid of the stains for to others it is a lesson learned. (Report) Reply

The voice of a soul in a muddled state...keep your vision positive, and dont let it dwindle, nice lines:

I believe the sun will rise
    Once again
And life will go on once more

We only get wisdom with age, I wish we had it when we was teenagers.

    be something you can be
be something that you can see
be something to be top of the hill
be something so you can feel
be something so you can relive
    be something cause you believe
