Forgotten What To Do Poem by David Harris

Forgotten What To Do

Rating: 5.0

Years ago when you were young
and I was young too,
I wanted to take you in my arms
and really ravish you.
However, you would have none of it,
and time marched on and on.
Now we are both getting on a bit
I still want to ravish you.
Only now, I can’t remember
what I’m supposed to do.
Old father time has robbed me of my memory
and I’ve forgotten what to do.

I'm glad that Vera isn't included in this either David, but all the same its a grand piece. There's a lot of things one forgets how to do as one gets older, sadly. Love and hugs Ernestine XXX

You claim it isn't autobiographical and having met you I sure know that. t x

Like being disconnected from your inner-feelings of young love some-how, all very sad, but all well written David Love duncan X

Age shouldn't strip a person of passion or yearning. Enjoyable and fun. Thanks.
