Forgotten Son Poem by RolfChristian Eichele

Forgotten Son

I am on the run
I have drifted far from home
I am a forgotten son
I might die alone..

Now my lips are sealed
Now my debts are signed
Now my webs are spun’
Now my tears run dry

Now I stand here waiting
Praying for the son

So many miles I have run
To find my way back home
Amazing songs I have sung
I don’t want to die alone

Ch
I am on the run
Thousand lies I have spun
Thousand times my soul I sold
Thousand times the bell has tolled

Thousand faces I have worn
Words like a banging drum
Thousand oaths I have sworn
Hunt me into the dawn

I found it so hard to learn
To tunnel in the earth
All my bridges burnt
Lessons never learnt

I am on my knees
An hundred visions I have seen
I have walked in aisles of trees
To break this circle around me. R-C K E
