Forgotten Poem by Signature Black

Forgotten

Alone with my thoughts,
All trapped inside my head,
They scream to be free,
The silence is long dead,

I try my very best,
The only way I can,
But no one hears my voice,
I stand a lonely man,

My fear is being forgotten,
Yes this is my fear,
My fear is being forgotten,
And you not shed a tear,

I search for days and days,
But nothing is what I find,
I look into a mirror,
Just to find my eyes are blind,

As my voice slowly goes,
And my heart slowly stops,
My thoughts go to you,
And a tear slowly drops,

My fear is being forgotten,
Yes this is my fear,
My fear is being forgotten,
Will you remember I was here?
