Forget Poem by Radhika Karia

Forget

Rating: 5.0

Forget his name, forget his face
Forget every story, forget every place.
Forget the smoke, forget the calm,
Forget the love, and forget the harm.

When you walk down that road, again tonight,
Forget there is a will, in you, to even fight.
The morning will rise, the dreams that smile,
Forget the number that you can always dial.

Forget i say, the arms that kept you close,
Forget every little musical dose.
Screaming hearts, that forgot to shut
Forget the wounds that he silently cut.

Why, oh why, won't you forget to hide,
Every time he chooses his pride
Forget, you silly little girl with no eyes,
Forget the hunger for the delicious pies.

When he left you to howl and forgot to lock,
Forget sweet child, of mine, to rock
You forget many things in life, I say,
Let's for once, try to, forget to play.

It's that forgetting mistake, I solemly make,
I forget to throw the key in the lake.
So my dear heart, forget to whisper,
Till he forgets every inch of me to her.

Nice poem, I liked the last Stanza: It's that forgetting mistake, I solemnly make, I forget to throw the key in the lake. So my dear heart, forget to whisper, Till he forgets every inch of me to her.
