Forget
see how fast I forget,
I don't remember.
not the sun on my face
nor the ring on my finger
not the child in my arms
nor the pictures on these walls
not even the man lying next to me
with love in his eyes
I've forgotten everything
my mind wiped clean
not one single memory
or so it would seem
I'm watching someone's life
but it's not mine
my life has been lost
only in time
