Forever We Will Be
Forever we will be
Dwelling in the holy city;
In the New Jerusalem,
We shall live eternally.
Life on earth is so short,
Full of woes and tears;
Like a puff of smoke
That quickly disappears.
Make the most of the moment,
Live our borrowed life wisely;
Not as those ungodly people,
Know the will of the Almighty.
Preserve clean and blameless
Our body, soul, and spirit;
Till the sun sets at the horizon's end,
Shape up to be morally fit.
The everlasting life
Is for the glorious body;
In the heavenly kingdom
Forever we will be.
