Forever Time Poem by Hazel Durham

Forever Time

Rating: 4.9

Her heart plays music to feed it's love,
She looks skywards to Holy God above.
She lives in a rural village in the west of Ireland,
The melodious wind carries love messages across the universe,

Like lost whispers of endearments written in the sand,
She loves the Apple Blossom tree it's fragrance wafting through the air,
Her soul is heaven's lair,
Opening on to lush green meadows surrounded by a thatched cottage,

With swirling smoke from it's white washed chimmey like turning her dreams page,
Darkness falls with a full moon aglow,
Like a night lantern in the sky,
The dawn is a party of light that flows

Across the sizzling universe,
With a kiss and arms outstretched,
She dreams of forever time,
Where birds always sing and church bells chime,

She will miss her dreaming as her life is been cruelly cut short,
The cancer is her enemy that flourishes in her weak body,
Energy is the past as life is weeping as it's time to leave this port,
She is only seventeen with her passion for life like an eternal flame,

But she knows God will take care of her,
Jesus will be her mate,
In heaven's joy that is her faith,
Saying goodbye is not God's answer,

Goodbye is a lie,
Because heaven's door is open
To the universe in the window in the sky,
She will rejoice in forever time,

Where birds always sing and church bells chime.

A poem beginning in a sad note, but ending in hope and the trust in the eternal bliss that awaits one even after death! In the sweet prime of youth, to be strangled by the tentacles of cancer is so cruel.... but the victim never curses her fate but hopefully awaits to reach a land where birds sing and bells chime and every head is aureoled! Another great write!

Lost whispers of endearments ARE written in the sand and death is ultimate truth of life and after birth this process is definite. Wonderful presentation of this poem makes this amazing...10
