Seeing a sunrise that never sets
feeling your pulse which never rests.
Sensing you are running cold
for every card I play you fold.

Time won't heed for a restless soul
freeing only half of what makes one whole.
What's come round might not again
sure you've lost but will you win.

The sun awaits a subtle sign
release the night with stars that shine.
Love's unrequited, unanswered cues
ceasing silently...eclipsed...removed.
