If I close my eyes today
And never see the sunrise tomorrow…
Will you know how much I care for you?
Your breath is my breath,
Your tear is my tear,
And your hurt is my hurt even though I don’t show it.

If I close my eyes now,
And never see the sunset today…
Will you know how much I love you?
My love for you is…
As deep as the ocean,
As wide as the sky,
And as pure as the Ganges.

If I close my eyes this second…
And never mend my problems with you…
Please forgive me for the hurtful things I’ve done to you,
And forever remember
My undying love for you.
