Forever Pain

Awake I lay
Waiting for the day
That the pain would go away
The pain did stay
As I pray
Ease the pain
It pours like rain
My mind begins to strain
I hear a refrain
A bane of
Flashing light
I scream with fright
I toss and turn into the night
As hard as I might
It's not right
The pain
Remains
Forever
