Forever Mine Poem by Danette Frenz

Forever Mine

Cookies and cupcakes,
What will I take?

Licorice or lollipop?
Gooey gummies or gumdrops?

Mmmh…so yummy,
In the tummy…

Don’t know where to begin-
To eat so much, surely it’s a sin!

Hershey’s hugs or kisses,
Chocolate that one misses…

Don’t know where to start,
Such desires of the heart!

Floating on beyond my gloom,
On a bubble gum balloon.

Swinging on licorice vines,
My heart with yours, does twine-
Forever yours, forever mine.
