Forever lost because of you
You hit me with one forbidden
Swoop of your fist
Black eyes and bleeding
And screaming in agony
Buried deep in the
Ground because of you
I start to fade
You cry one night
And you dig me up
And hold me close
And scream “Y DID I EVER LET YOU GO”
But dawn has come
And darkness fades
Life has given me what I’ve prayed
The tombs of darkness and light
You lay a rose out in the light
And sing a song soft and hard
Praying and living hard
The ghost of me
Will haunt you for an eternity
