Forever In God's Care, Shells....Of Love Poem by Teresa Dearing

Forever In God's Care, Shells....Of Love

Rating: 5.0

Tangled and twisted,
Forever untwined,
Shrout and mist,
Covers the mind.

A glimmer of sunshine,
The mist starts to lift,
Burdened so heavy,
Circits can't shift.

As you are,
You still shimmer.
Bright shell, whole,
Just alittle dlimmer.

But the curtian falls,
Memories now lost,
There is no hope,
No matter the cost.

So hard to bear,
When loved ones die,
But much harder still,
When they live a lie.

The memories become lost,
And emotions tumble,
The child becomes parent,
As the files become jumbled.

What is this that robs us,
Stealing the mind of our loved one,
Leaving only a shell behind,
A total eclisp of the sun.

Until both are lost forever,
To merge once again as one,
The lost mind and it's empty shell,
But from the clouds, shines the sun.

In memories they still live,
Wonderful times shared,
The love they once gave,
May they rest in God's care.
