forbidden love

I think of you all day long
But I know I shouldn’t
I think of you all the time
But I know I shouldn’t
The most
Tempting
Love there is
Is the forbidden
Love
He’s the forbidden love

Forbidden love
Always looks better
Forbidden love
Is oh so tempting
Forbidden love
You gotta have it
Cuz you love it
Its forbidden love

You know
That I love you
But you’re forbidden
I know
That you love me
But I’m forbidden

What it is now
Everything was better
When he was forbidden
But then once I got him
A.G.A.I.N.
It’s not as tempting
Now its you
That I think of
And I’m still forbidden
Is this forbidden that you have
I know
That my love for you is
Forbidden
Forbidden
Forbidden love
Always looks better
Forbidden love
Is oh so tempting
Forbidden love
You gotta have it
Cuz you love it
Its forbidden love

All I can ever do now
All day long
Is think of the
Forbidden love
That I have

You know
That I love you
But you’re forbidden
I know
That you love me
But I’m forbidden

So tell me
Why is the forbidden
The most tempting
In the love
Why is the forbidden
The most wanted
Then your current love
There’s forbidden love
He’s my forbidden love

I know exactly what you speak of in this powerful poem. Your words whisper wonders into my ears and heart. They make the ocean of my memories ripple as I think of Haley the horse. I was just a lone farm boy out here in Hermiston. Her carmel eyes called to my sense of love and lust, but I knew the norms of society would keep us apart forever. She died a cold, windy day last September, but not before we'd had a bout of rodeo love in the open fields of wheat. I will never forget that day, thank you for bringing back such memories with your touching, spiritual, awakening, and thought-invoking writing. (Report) Reply

i wished you dont repeat forbidden and love so much. Its like repeating the message over and over again but was put differently each stanza.Instead of repeating it, why nt work on making the message more clear? Just a suggestion, dats all. (Report) Reply

Poem of the Day

poet Wilfred Owen

All sounds have been as music to my listening:
Pacific lamentations of slow bells,
The crunch of boots on blue snow rosy-glistening,
Shuffle of autumn leaves; and all farewells:
