As I walk on these school grounds,
I know I'm forever alone.
As I see couples in love,
I know my love is just a waste.
As I see the happiness in everyone around me,
I know I'll never be happy again.

Today is what hurts the most,
The past is what was.
Yesterday is the tears,
Now here comes the strength in me.
The future is what I see,
The past is what I'll deny.

As days go by,
I know you won't be back at all.
As the hours of time go by,
You'll never leave my mind.
As the world changes,
My love for you will always remain the same.

I'm too afraid to look ahead,
Tho I can... knowing your in my life,
Even thought were so far apart,
No matter what happens,
I won't ever tell you goodbye.

My love for you never changes,
Neither does my emotional strength,
I'm in love with you,
I know you are too.
