For You. Poem by Samii Bell

For You.

I'm counting down the heartbreaks,
One, five, ten.
I'm holding each and every breath.
Cause I can't take rejection again.
I wish I could find closure.
From this self-inflicted Hell.
I have so many stories.
But no-one left to tell.
I'm the kind of girl.
With her heart worn on her sleeve.
But I'm always left so helpless.
Alone and left to grieve.
I've let my self keep falling,
But forgotten how to fly.
Telling myself each time.
It will be the last I try.
But this time it is different.
I think I found the one,
I have no other option.
Nowhere left to run.
I swear I'll Give you everything.
If only you do the same.
I'll share with you my heart.
If you'll share your last name.
I promise to love you always.
If you swear to be mine too.
I really just want you to know.
That darling I love you.
