For You Poem by Viola Grey

For You

Rating: 3.9

Passion's wishes go unrequited,
it's purity that wins through.
Gentle hearts weigh heavily
on the minds of shallow dreams.
All you want, within your reach,
scatters in the cold wind.
Storms surround hungry hearts
unwilling to be touched.
You will have love - finally-
believe that it's true.
Present to the image hungry
colours true to you.
What shines through darkness
radiates from deep within,
shattering grey-clouded thoughts,
illuminating your soul.

Wonderfully written poem. Lot of imagery and dynamics. You do not know but you wrote it on my birth day.
