For Two Years Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

An angel of Satan tormented me for two years,
But my faith in Yahweh led me on!
Even though i was in serious pain,
I moved on in sleepless nights but with joy.
In hunger and in thirst,
And like the Book of the Willows;
But the pools of water and the streams of love guided me.
For two years to walk through with pain at my back,
But out of the serpent's root came forth an adder!
And the off-springs were fiery flying serpents.
