For To Prove A Point To Daddy Poem by Francis Duggan

For To Prove A Point To Daddy

Rating: 5.0

To be the U.S. President is not his dream come true
But to be better than his daddy and do what dad failed to do
By toppling Saddam Hussein he thinks he will out do his dad
For one with such power at his disposal that might seem a bit sad.

He talks of World peace and harmony though that's not in his plan
But by toppling Saddam Hussein from power he might prove to his dad he's a man
George W's axe to grind with Saddam it would appear to me
Is more about the problems in his own family.

Though the British and the Australian Prime Ministers support his planned attack
Not much support around the World for a war on Iraq
A battle that's been fought and won more than ten years ago
And of this latest episode few care to hear or know.

He will embarrass his father by deposing Saddam Hussein
But on the poor souls of Iraq inflict a lot of pain
For to prove a point to his family he will cause death and tears
And the poor of Iraq must suffer on like they've suffered for years.
