For One World Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

I have bled in recent times
As whole of the world is seized with intolerance
Color and race has taken top position
There is all over confusion

Not all writers have felt it seriously
As some of the poets have written continuously
The poverty and helplessness has drawn their attention
With specific reference and feeling of alienation

Not all poets were united under one flag
Only they were contended and dragging feet
But some only have risen to the occasion
With only intention of high elevation

If I take my case in particular
The articles have flown from the tip of the pen so far
But who has taken the pain in the public?
Here lies principle of essence with basic

Let us all dream for one world
The idea may develop cold
The feet may drag somewhere
And no one shall have courage to dare
