For One Last Time Poem by Sanyukta Dharmadhikari

For One Last Time

Her hair glistened one last time.
Connected to the skies one last time.
Defined her femininity one last time.

Her bosom heaved one last time.
Bore the brunt one last time.
Turned someone on one last time.

Her earrings decorated her one last time.
Trinkled away, one last time.
Were removed one last time.

She surrendered, one last time.
Let him consume her, one last time.
Slit her throat, one last time.
