Do not take anything for granted,
Earn all that you get and deserve.
Seeds will grow only when planted,
Your labour you must not reserve.

Ensure that time is not wasted,
Carpe diem you have heard me say.
Planning way ahead is needed
Leaving time to enjoy every day.

If what you do brings you pleasure,
And that others benefit too,
You will have doubled the measure
Of the joy that it brings to you.

Make sure that you have ambition
To succeed in all that you do.
Then think on these words quite often,
And your good deeds will not be few.
