In the end i shall fall,
For my flag and country,
At the end of this all,
You shall not weep,

I will hang up my boots,
You may lay me to rest,
And say your last respects,
You may mourn,

My life was lived,
My last breath has been taken,
My name you shall remember,
It may live on for years to come,

Just remember why i fell,
For my flag and country,
I hope i served for you well,
Please don't cry but you may mourn,

I fell for you my flag and country,
But a new soldier was born.
