For Mother Poem by Meggie Gultiano

For Mother

Rating: 5.0

You have taken that quiet walk
And softly closed the door behind you
To return to your permanent home
Embraced by the welcoming arms of the Almighty

I will never forget the special care
The undivided attention you gave
The lullaby and the rocking chair
You everyday sung to and fro

The pain of losing you
Made me strong to face another day
Accepting the fact that you are not with us anymore
Maybe in another time, another place

Tell Jesus that i love Him
In all splendor, I adore Him
That in my everyday faith walk
He will carve my name in His heart

I love you, Mom

To our beautiful mothers... They will live in our hearts forever, Meggie. And this poem is a lovely tribute to your mother, and the Lord. Thanks, kapatid! Lee

A tender-hearted tribute to a much loved mum. 'The lullaby and the rocking chair You everyday sang to and fro' I found particularly poetic, and of course, your faith which is the rock that underpins this beautiful poem. Love, Allie ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
