For John And Wayne Poem by Cynthia Buhain-baello

For John And Wayne

We all had past regrets
But take a moment's pause
The pain we must forget
And the scars these may have caused.

With hope, we move on forward
Unhindered by those hurts,
For the future holds rewards
And ways to regain self-worth.

Each passing day is ours
A chance to win our battles-
Though with age, Time's quickening hours
May soon take us out of the hurdle.

As a friend and a fellow soldier
We hold friendship in the battle of life
With our God and with all our prayers
We'll find victory through all the strife!

than you for this so positive poem, Cynthia. you certainly reflect a god of love which I have discovered in Holland too. In Ireland I experienced Him as a monster. you are certainly able to produce much fruit and with so much joy. I read a great poem today by Orlando Belo called The Power of Prayer. its true for every believer. I submitted a poem today you might like to read it , namely 'it is your birhtday'. God Bless, john

Cynthia; thank you so much for the poem. How true it is about life and how we need to make the best of what is left of it. Thank you so much! Wayne
