I've always believed in Angels
Though I've never seen one it's true
at least up until the day
God decided to send me you

I never would have guessed it
That I could be so blessed
To have an Angel sent to me
Ahead of all the rest

I didn't know that Angels had
Such kind and sparkling eyes
Or tucked their wings up under their sleeves
To do their best to hide

I know that you're an Angel
Though I've never seen you fly
I know that you are heavensent
From the blue & faraway sky

I didn't know that Angels had
Such a heart of gold
Or a touch to warm my body
When the world felt so cold

I didn't know an Angel's glance
Could touch my very soul
Or that an Angel's tender kiss
Could make me feel so whole

Yes, I know that you're an Angel
And that I've been so blessed
That God chose you to send to me
Ahead of all the rest.
