For Better Or Worse - No Longer Poem by Lyn Paul

For Better Or Worse - No Longer

Rating: 5.0

How...
We all want
To be that couple holding hands

Almost a lifetime together...
Though fairy tales
Are not for us all

Yet we can all find...
That happily ever after
One Day...

For better or worse
No longer
I have travelled
Though travel is waiting to walk in my shoes
This has taken a piece of me

Yet, It has given me freedom
Freedom I've never had
To know what I don't want
Gives me great power

I now see more sunshine
Now walk in the rain
Smile at the dancing robins
And I feel no pain

There are no winners
Only the porcelain of life
Make the marriage
Live longer than the dinner set

When you sign
For better or for worse
Your heart is filled with desire
Just follow that desire
For Better Or For Worse

The panorama of life often does not match with the realities that life offers on platter. Loved it.

Freedom is a gift of living life to the full, so for better or worse sometimes doesn't work out but freedom is a gift to find! Beautiful, insightful write Lyn!
