For April Poem by M. Phillip Brown

For April

Rating: 5.0

Across the vast sea of sand—
stretched out, before my eyes.
Are all our countless tomorrows—
where a hazy future lies.
What will come, must happen—
what's past, is written down.
Our lives, touch so many others—
forming glorious friendships, once found.
Across the endless bounds of time—
where uncertainty forms, and lies.
Are all our countless forevers—
full of boundless greetings, and sorrowful
good byes.
Not one time, nor present—
has one touched my life, as you.
From a blank, and silent beginning—
our closeness today, once grew.
