Softly...murmurings soothed
Sanctuaries,
For the small, the weary...
When dusky folds blanketed
Horizons...gentle creatures
Welcomed warmth
In Hearth, in Home...
When Evening hued its
Hellos...all creatures
Great and small,
Smiled their
Goodnights.
Slept in peace...
Quiet of heart,
Dreaming Dawn's
Silent 'good morning.'
