Fools Island Poem by jerica singleton

Fools Island

Rating: 4.0

Shipwrecked,
You abandoned us
Drowning
In your sea...
Lies of anguish
Deception to change us
Drifting,
Floating amongst others
Couldn't believe - one of us
Calling for the captain
Who no longer wants to hear from us
Lost at sea
Hooked on a caption
You planted into us
The view
Miraculous

Floating amongst others. Wonderful composition really. Nicely drafted.
