Fools Gold Poem by Khaos Dven

Fools Gold

Our love a golden treasure, flakes of mineral that will last forever, but is it fools gold? Sitting and thinking in this lonely world looking out the window, watching the black widow dance in the rain. I feel like ive invested to much, am i insane? Have i sold my heart and soul for fools gold? Im not caring about your lame excuses, there getting old, and these warm salty tears running down my face are getting cold. And now your not here to wipe them away, was your 'I love you baby' fake? For GODS-SAKE please tell me our love isnt fools gold! until you come back im fated to sit here and hold myself. Waiting in this muck and filth, listening to these walls whispering thoughts to me. And you have the key to unlocking me, but will it turn into insanity? ...even if our love is only fools gold, ill still care and hold you till the end. Becuase you are my one and only...my only friend.
