Fool Poem by Edwina Reizer

Fool

Fool,
You old fool,
Can't you follow
any old rule?
Step out of line
just one time
they'll make your thumbprint
be your sign.

Fool,
You old fool,
Can't you make believe
that you're real cool?
Think in your head.
Don't let it be said.
They'll make you wish
that you were dead.
