Food Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Food

Food

Food was served on table, cloth spread on ground
Everything was shared, kin, clan and tribe
With it came chit-chats, variety of talks
Good and bad, rejoice and advice.

Now, bowls single, and small
No one is there but me; me and I
No mother, dad, siblings but
Media, internet, Wikipedia.

Fantastic imagery. Though, the poem deals with an ordinary subject, it presents an irony towards the end where the man is alone with media, internet and Wikipedia to give him the company. Thanks for this amazing poem.
