Follow You Poem by aida melesse

Follow You

Rating: 2.8

You take me with you my heart,
In your travels from one end
to the other
like you have been pushed by a certain force,
going forward to the other side
and back again
always near but not quite there.
So different and new these end points
and in between all the pleasures and hesitations,
Do you have a place
where you can stay?
or is it your doing
stretching the ends?
Not the staying but how near you are
to the other side,
The newness of it
and even newer if you don't get to it
that makes you stretch it even more?
Is it your eagerness
or curiosity
that pushes you which feels like an outside force
setting you in motion?
Is it the hope of getting there
that keeps you going?
or knowing
that if you stop that's when you are
nearer to it,
like you have never been before?
loosing yourself to it
becoming one?
