Folk Remedies Poem by Melody Stargaze

Folk Remedies

Rating: 5.0

To cure a cold, you get lots of rest.
To cure the hiccups, hold your breath.
To cure a broken heart, you eat ice cream.

An apple a day keeps the doctor away,
Vitamin C is good when you're sick.
Cry it out, you'll feel better.

Got a headache? Take an Advil.
Sore throat? Here's some cough drops.
Fever? Sweat it out.

'My stomach hurts', here's a TUMS,
'I cut myself', here's a band-aid.
'I got stung', use baking soda.

It's funny how many of are doctors,
I for one do not have a degree,
Yet, I can make you feel better.
