Fly, Fly, Away Poem by carlee banks

Fly, Fly, Away

Rating: 5.0

Faking laughter, faking smiles all so i won't cry
I wish I could fly, fly away from the drama and hatefulness that fills life
fly, fly away like birds to warmth
fly, fly away like a plane heading north or
fly, fly away like superman when he saves the day.
but alas I can not fly I am not a bird...a plane... or superman.
but I am human I make mistakes and fix the ones I can
I can be hurt I can be strong I can even be wrong
but why fly when you can walk?
