Flood Poem by David Harris

Flood

Rating: 5.0

The angered storm clouds race across the sky,
endangering the basking sun,
in an attempt to ruin our lives,
with teardrops from the heavens,
which will flood the lands.
Causing destruction and mayhem
to everything in its path stands.
It is only when the water recedes;
that the price paid is revealed.
