I remember how I loved you
I remember how you loved me

With such passion and dedication
Now I don't know what to think

I can recall all of our moments
Each and every one
Even the feelings that came with them

But now I'm not sure what I feel

Have you put our past behind you
Set it aside, neglected and abandoned
Or perhaps covered it with a gentle cloth, saving it, keeping it, holding on

Have I moved on past our bond
I cannot say decisively
I still label you as important
As a key person, part, memory
I'm still grateful, and I thank you
for my happiness and my peace

But today I lay here reflecting
And I seem to have exhausted myself of words
The fire's died down
Maybe died out

The embers remain
Waiting to be sparked
Ignited again

Spurred into glorious blaze
To dance, jump, shout, whirl with glee

Pure
Light
Reaction
Chemistry

I am me because of you
Seems you've faded and so this is faded me

You're gone, I'm done
When you're back, I'll run and race and whip the wind
to end up in grace's arms
In a cave of warmth where I'll revive and relearn to live

You're back
I'm most animate

But me without you
Is like sky without blue
Ah without choo
Honesty without truth
Me without you
