Flight Of A Caterpillar Poem by Abdul Wahab

Flight Of A Caterpillar

Rating: 5.0

Taunting me it is said that I am a colour blind
And see the seven coloured rainbow
As a mono coloured hanging bridge
To cross over to a wonder land
But let me tell you I was a gardener who
Used to grow different types of colourful flowers where
I once met with a caterpillar with whom I got deep intimacy whose
Blue eyes, white checks and red lips I liked the most
Than the evening star and morning sun
And never lured away by flashed flesh of the green grass grown
By the side ways of the roads
I did not want any thing in my life
Except two bright eyes at which I could stare
And blown away but with a sigh I tell you
She left my flowers freshly bloomed in my heart
Blaming me a colour blind
When she got her wings
And turned into a butterfly.

A not so beautiful caterpillar turns into a butterfly and flies away. Love so deeply felt can take wings and fly up and away. Maybe wil meet again someday. Just lovely.l
