Flickering And Flaring Poem by Heath Harrington

Flickering And Flaring

If only when I hold you
my heart were visible
the flame flickering and flaring.
when we first touched
it seemed we had been apart
for a dozen life times
comfort hadn't left us
the flame flickering and flaring.

Your eyes tell me all
glistening gems gathering
your thoughts and projecting
them into mine. what will tomorrow
bring? a wonderful adventure of you
in my arms and the flame flickering and flaring.
